I came across a post about a Loop on Ground antenna by KK5JY and decided to give it a shot. It’s amazing how well this thing hears, with very low noise. I’m still experimenting with it, but so far it has worked well on 75m phone inside the state as well as in the CQ WW RTTY contest.
60 feet of wire in a square loop, CATV 75ohm coax and a KD9SV BOG transformer are what I used.
