Managing Linux Through Windows Active Directory

When I first read this, it was obvious to me that I would have a few retorts to this. First, why not ask the questions, “Why not have Windows authenticate to Linux?” or “Why not have a central LDAP Server and have all systems authenticate to that?” or “Why do we have to have these stupid, expensive, insecure, broke-down-all-the-time, malware-infested Windows servers and workstations in our office, anyway?” However, that’s a hillariously fun discussion for another day. Second, I knew and had tested the fact that it takes little time to authenticate Linux to Windows without having to pay for a product.
